My assignment: area Bed & Breakfast inns. My challenge: find the best Breakfast.

“Owner Carolyn Troxell served breakfast at a huge wooden table beginning with a pot of tea and a fruit parfait. Kiwi, grapes and strawberries served with vanilla yogurt in a tall glass were accompanied by a lemon poppy seed bread that came warm from the oven and melted in the mouth. Next, she served eggs baked in ham cup with a cream cheese filling, grated potatoes that were heavenly, and the tiniest, broiled tomatoes. The eggs tasted wonderful. The ham was moist. This was the best breakfast to be found.”

Welcome to Westwynd

Start Your Day With A Gourmet Seasonal Breakfast
Breakfast is served at what ever time you choose in our beautiful large dining room with window walls overlooking the rear gardens. In warmer months, you might enjoy taking a tray out to either of the adjoining patios. In winter, you’re greeted by a warming fire in the large stone fireplace.

The menu changes daily offering either a sweet or savory main course, fruit and breads. Beverage choices always includes coffee, decaf, hot chocolate and a selection of teas along with your choice of orange, grapefruit, apple, cranberry or V-8 juice.

With just a little notice, we can accommodate any special diet restriction or preference.
