Guest Comments
From Texan Guests:
We stayed in the Serendipity room and
cannot speak highly enough about Westwynd Farm and its
host/hostess, Frank and Carolyn. Located less than three
miles from Hotel Hershey, the location was absolutely
perfect for all Hershey attractions as well as day trips
to Lancaster county, Gettysburg, and local wineries. The
grounds were great for enjoying the outdoors - lots of
seating areas on and off the covered porch (rocking
chairs, porch swing) as well as acreage to stroll and
horses to pet. Any unforeseen needs were already taken
care of by the hosts – from a stocked guest refrigerator
downstairs of beverages… to your bathroom stocked with
aloe vera for too much sun and bath salts for a relaxing
soak in the tub. The bedroom’s dual alarm clock with
CD/radio was great for waking up to your favorite CD
from home, and Hershey chocolates were available in your
room for that little late-night craving. Nightly fresh,
homemade sweets were delicious, and breakfast each
morning was filling (fruit, homemade breads, hot
breakfast, coffee, hot teas, juices). We cannot
recommend Westwynd Farm enough, and we would stay there
again in a heartbeat the next time we travel from Texas
to the Hershey area.
From Boston Guests:
My husband and I recently stayed at this gorgeous B&B on
our way to Boston. The antique-filled house was perfect,
no detail was missed. Carolyn & Frank (innkeepers) were
very warm & welcoming, making us feel right at home.
They offered everything you could want and more - wine &
cheese, complimentary soft drinks and Hershey chocolates
everywhere! The breakfast was delicious with special
touches like a fresh flower on our fruit, soft music and
warm maple syrup. We had a great time relaxing in the
beautiful surroundings and enjoyed petting the horses
and cats in the barn. We were only able to stay one
night, but wished we could have stayed longer. This was
our first B&B experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it
(much nicer than a hotel!). I wish we had stayed here at
the end of our trip, as the other B&B's we stayed in
could not come close to matching the standard of
excellence set by Carolyn & Frank. You won't be
disappointed if you stay at this delightful B&B. I know
we'll be back!
