The Hershey Theatre (15 E. Caracas Ave.; 717-534-3405) is bringing some of New York’s most famous productions to central Pennsylvania with its latest season. The line-up of shows has just been released and it is wonderful!

Enjoy Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Hershey Theatre
“A Christmas Story: The Musical” (Nov. 8-13): Laugh out loud at the Christmas misadventures of Ralphie Parker, a boy who just wants a BB gun.
“Shrek the Musical“ (Dec. 27-Jan. 1): An ogre, and his trusty donkey save a princess with the help of their fairy-tale friends – including one sassy cookie.
“West Side Story” (March 20-25, 2012): The classic Broadway musical of two star-crossed lovers in New York.
“Memphis” (April 10-15): The Tony Award-winning musical about rock ‘n’ roll in Tennessee.
“Mamma Mia“ (June 26-July 1): The music of ABBA comes to life in this feel-good comedy.
“Disney’s Beauty and the Beast“ (July 24-29): The animated film comes to life in this stage adaptation, complete with lavish costumes, fantastical sets, and classic songs like “Be Our Guest.”
The Hershey Theatre is a beautiful venue with virtually no bad seats. We have season tickets and we are so excited about this year’s shows. As always, we suggest booking early for both the theatre and our Hershey bed and breakfast.
