Harrisburg Senators Baseball – Sports and food fans, take note! Celebrate the Senators’ 30th anniversary year with a home game. This Double-A Washington Nationals team is fun to watch. PLUS this outing is an affordable one. Grab yourself some popcorn and enjoy a great game. Home games will take place August 6, 7, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23 and 24. August Jazz on the Veranda – Stop by The Hotel Hershey any Friday evening this August at 7:00pm for some amazing free musical entertainment. Enjoy a refreshing beverage or two, light food items, and mingling with over music enthusiasts. Sing and dance to rhythm and blues on the veranda. This is the perfect place to enjoy the Hershey sunset! It will be a magical evening.
Ride the Rails – Take a tour on the milk and honey line at the Middletown to Hummelstown Railroad. You will have a blast on an 11-mile train ride along the Swatara Creek as you learn some history about the area. You will even have the chance to talk with the train crew, ask questions, and more. Refreshments are provided! Take a train ride every Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday at 12:00pm and 1:00pm throughout August.
Are You the Next Great Chocolate Maker – Get hands-on with Hershey’s famous sweet treat – chocolate! Check out this unique Chocolate Lab and learn first-hand about the ingredients of chocolate and how it’s made. This workshop will last 45 minutes and will give you a new-found appreciation for Hershey’s chocolate and the hard work that goes into making delicious chocolate.
