The Hershey Theatre
Located in downtown Hershey, Pennsylvania, this magnificent theatre has established itself as the area’s premier performing arts center, presenting the finest in touring Broadway shows, classical music and dance attractions, and world-renowned entertainers and a wonderful classic film series.
The Giant Center
Giant Center serves as the home rink for the popular Hershey Bears, of the American Hockey League. The 306,000-square-foot structure can hold more than 12,000 people, in addition to hockey, it presents almost every major rock or country star that’s on tour. Concerts and other events, have included the music of Martina McBride, the Police, and shows by the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus and Stars on Ice. It also hosts Ice skating championships and the state high school championships for basketball and wrestling. (The inn books well in advance for these so be sure to plan ahead)
Hersheypark Stadium and The Star Pavilion
Hersheypark Stadium is the most prominent outdoor stadium between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, hosting such events as the annual Summer Concert Series, PIAA Football and Soccer Championships, and the BIG 33 Football Classic. With the addition of a state-of-the-art synthetic grass system, Hersheypark Stadium continues to shine as the venue for athletic events, holding nearly 16,000 in the stands. Overall, Hersheypark Stadium can hold 30,000 fans for concerts. In past years, the Stadium has hosted musical acts such as the Dave Matthews Band, Alabama, U2, James Taylor, and The Who.
Complementing Hersheypark Stadium for summer concert performances, the Star Pavillion is more intimate venue, It can accommodate up to 8,000 fans in both reserved seating in front of the stage and general admission lawn area.
Hersheypark Summer Concert Special
Ride the day away at Hersheypark and rock and roll all night! Hersheypark offers a special discounted admission price of just $37.95 to concert go-ers when using a Park ticket the day before, day of, or the day after the concert. Concert-goers may purchase one Park ticket during one of the three days. Just present your concert ticket at the Hersheypark Front Gate on one of the three days to receive the discount. Or, purchase your Park tickets at Giant Center Box Office when you purchase your concert tickets. Available for summer concerts held at Hersheypark Stadium, Star Pavilion, Giant Center, and Hershey Theatre during the Hersheypark summer public operating season (May-September). Concert special admission tickets do no qualify for the Preview Plan.
