Here you will find an impressive line-up of live concerts, comedy shows, musicals, and other entertaining shows each year. Secondly, Hersheypark Stadium offers a hot line-up of concerts by classic rock bands — a chance to “see the stars under the stars.” Just imagine watching and listening to live performances by the likes of Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Santana, Earth, Wind & Fire, Rod Steward, and much more.
Lastly, with 306,000 square feet of venue space, the Giant Center hosts premium concerts, sporting events, and great shows right here in Hershey, PA. Watch the Hershey Bears take on the Charlotte Checkers. Savor the sounds of Reba McEntire playing her greatest hits. The options are endless.
Mud Sales? That’s right. In Lancaster County, PA, Mud Sales are a much-anticipated annual auction and sale event that’s held at a number of local fire stations. Residents and visitors alike discover bargains on many items. Shop hand-stitched Amish quilts, locally-made crafts, fresh baked goods, antiques, lumber, buggies, lawn equipment – and even the kitchen sink, literally.
Also, the Mud Sales are named for the condition of the thawing ground in late winter and early spring. These major fundraisers for the volunteer fire companies throughout the Amish communities draw people from all over. Experience the excitement of simultaneous auctions in Amish and English, and find the perfect item to take home with you.
