Known as “the Swattie,” Swatara Creek flows southward from Schuylkill County to the Susquehanna River in Middletown. For 60 miles, the creek passes by some of the most scenic landscapes in South Central PA. A 42-mile section of the creek known as the Swatara Water Trail runs from Jonestown to Middletown.
